Combining digital technologies provides a holistic overview of life with PD

Digital technologies can provide a unique, holistic overview of behavior in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD), according to researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center, New York, USA.

For patients with PD, assessments are limited to clinic visits and are often subjective, the researchers noted. “Digital health technologists provide frequent, objective, and sensitive data collection in real-world settings and in real-time,” they said.
